Project overview:
ACORN was appointed to design, construct and maintain the new Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff, a state-of-the-art facility delivering specialist cancer services across Southeast Wales. The project aims to create a ‘cancer centre for the future’, combining innovative green design principles with a comprehensive community benefits approach.
What we did:
CloudNine led the bid management (win strategy, writing, graphics) and the community benefits workstream. We worked with all JV partners to coordinate inputs, shape compelling narrative and develop a robust community benefits strategy aligned with local priorities and the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act 2015.
What we delivered:
We provided strategic input, compelling responses and effective management of a large, multidisciplinary team. Our approach to community benefits achieved maximum points and our comprehensive support played a key role in the client’s successful contract award.
